2002 Ford Ecoline E-150 with 34,000 miles

vI got the new van on the road and started driving south to Oklahoma city to sell a gun safe large enough to store my gemstones.  It just so happens that the safe was too large to store in the van so I sold it to and old farmer about 100 miles away.  He had enough men when I got there, to unload it out of my van and into their barn.  I got paid $500 for the 6ft 1000 lb hunk of metal.  Now back to planning security for the gemstones.  I think a security system and power locks and insurance is the way to go.

Anyway as soon as I dropped off the vault, my van started giving me problems.

I limped her from Oklahoma back to Doo Dah(Wichita, KS) and took her in the next day to be diagnosed.  It came back a bad coil on cylinder three and took two days at the shop to be fixed.  $250 later the van was back on the road.':(

Not until the next weekend I was on my way to NE Kansas to Overland Park when my van started shuttering and giving my almost the same problem, well, I pulled her over and started thinking this time it was a fuel problem.  So I popped off the fuel filter (which is not a clean job) and installed and new one.  I started her on the road again, still same problem at 65 mph. OMG!!!!!

So I limped her to KC for another fun filled weekend of car problems.  Got her to the shop where they diagnosed it as vacuum problem and fuel pump.  Well, five days later an over a thousand dollars in labor,,, and several days in a hotel,,,,,,,,,I am proud to say  IT IS DRIVING LIKE A DREAM.   #34,000 miles is the newest oldest car that I have owned, lol.  The van life, 2023.   I am liking the van, it has 35,000 miles on her now and I pack and take it on the road to Art Shows Across America.

Did I tell you that the van has a Queen Sized BED!!!  Off to Winfield, where the Buegrass Grows.
